About Founder

The gap became impossible to ignore after years inside organisations that planned every pound — capital programmes, multi-year forecasts, driver-based models. That same discipline rarely makes it home with us. Most of us were never taught how to apply it to a household, or to the line between a business and the person running it — and the cost of that gap quietly compounds.

I’m a chartered certified accountant (ACCA) and a functional Oracle Cloud consultant specialising in Project Portfolio Management and Enterprise Performance Management. Over nearly two decades I’ve worked across the public sector — local government and the NHS — and the private sector, designing the systems large organisations rely on to budget, forecast and report. Alongside the consultancy work, I run an accountancy practice supporting around 400 individuals and small businesses across the UK with their tax, accounts and financial planning.

That dual vantage point — corporate finance discipline on one side, the lived reality of households and small businesses on the other — is what I built The Reframe Initiative and Life Is Business to bridge. Most people don’t need more financial products; they need a framework. The principles that keep a project on budget or a balance sheet healthy will, applied honestly, do the same for a household or a founder.

Outside the work, my time belongs to my family and to raising our two children. At forty, I’ve started making time to see parts of the world I’ve put off for too long.
